Greetings Tundra Marauders,

A quick thanks to Rick Goral for designing this kick ass poster for our show--notice the cobra coming out of the skull! Also, thanks to Rachel or new "merch girl," and KEXP for playing us.

We play this Friday night at the King Cobra with Bronze Fawn and Panther Attack. King Cobra is on 916 Pike St, accross the street from Nuemo's.

The Lords are busy writing songs and more songs. The new songs are still heavy but more upbeat, refined, and shorter. We'll still have epics of course but also some quick 3 min numbers. I think we are going to try and go back to the studio with Phil at Avast2 in September to record a second album in 2008. We want to be ambitious as possible until our ears bleed. I think releasing a record, having your first show be your CD release show, making a music video, and then doing it all over for a second record, all in 2008 will be a good experiment. Nothing like a broken heart to ignite the flames of creativity...

Also, we need 2 things if you know anyone: an animator to make some psychadelic images for a music video and second, a way to make the giant head on the left move robotically. Well, that would be cool at least.-Pat
P.S. I think I fixed the issue where if someone replies to this email not everyone on the list will get your message. Also, you can email us at henryhanks@gmail.com or here.

Lords at the Comet Wed Night

Greetings Tundra Army,
The snow has retreated from Seattle and the sun reigns once again, at least for like 2 hrs. Anyway, it's been a busy few weeks for the Lords. We released our first record, played our first show at the Rendezvous, and now we are starting to get our first reviews here and here and here. Good stuff. Just did an interview with Metal Maniacs magazine as well--has anyone heard of it? I didn't until recently. Not a big metal fan myself unless you count these guys. I was in love with the model from the video, remember?
Check out the photo below from the Rendezvous show--I have to say, Jim's glow in the dark drums are bad ass.

Anyway, we play the Comet tomorrow night, come out if you can! We'll crush your demons and lift your spirits.
-Pat
